SIM is a high-temperature insulating material produced through a specialized process by mixing inorganic materials and mica. It offers outstanding thermal insulation performance. Thanks to its lightweight and thin-layer, SIM helps reduce both weight and volume of the products it is applied to, contributing to cost savings. With excellent flexibility, it can be applied in various forms. Specially coated versions are available to enhance surface quality and performance.

Featuring low thermal conductivity, SIM provides effective thermal insulation and is mainly used for EV Battery cells and modules. It is also suitable for industrial applications requiring ultra-high thermal resistance.

Tested according to UL2596 standards, SIM withstands 4 cycles at 0.8mm thickness in the Torch & Grit Test, demonstrating its excellent fire resistance.
